At Dormansland, we very much appreciate parents' support in ensuring that the children attend school smartly dressed and in the correct uniform.  We regard this as a very important factor in the success of the school. Our school uniform is designed to be simple, practical and economical and can be purchased via the school office or most supermarkets. 

Reception class

Navy trousers, tracksuit bottoms, leggings, shorts

Navy sweatshirt (school logo items can be purchased from the school office)

White polo shirt (school logo items can be purchased from the school office)

Red check summer dresses or culottes

Grey, navy or white socks

Grey or navy tights

Black school shoes, trainers (no lights or sounds)

Key Stage 1 and 2

Navy or grey trousers, skirt, pinafore or shorts

Navy sweatshirt (school logo items can be purchased from the school office)

White polo shirt (school logo items can be purchased from the school office)

Red check summer dress or culottes

Grey, navy or white socks

Black school shoes (sports trainers or boots are not acceptable footwear)

General Appearance: 

Jewellery must not be worn for reasons of safety.  If your child has pierced ears only the smallest of studs should be worn to school but these must be removed by the child for P.E.

Long hair (shoulder length and below) must be tied back at all times, for both boys and girls. Hair ties and headbands should be small and discreet in school colours only. Extreme hairstyles are not appropriate for school and children should not have decorative patterns cut into their hair or have their hair coloured or dyed.

Children should not wear make up or nail polish in school.
