In maths we will be looking at fractions. The children will be learning to recognise, find, name and write fractions of a length, shape, set of objects or quantity.

Today we continued learning about the history of the Gunpowder Plot. Four hundred years ago, in 1605, a man called Guy Fawkes and a group of plotters attempted to blow up the Houses of Parliament in London with barrels of gunpowder placed in the basement. They wanted to kill King James and the king's leaders. Through whole class discussion and group work the children thought about the type of questions the different characters might have asked each other.
