Welcome to Dormansland Primary School

Welcome to Dormansland Primary School.

We hope you find our website both informative and inspiring, offering a glimpse into the wonderful learning experiences, achievements and opportunities that make our school such a special place. Here you can learn more about our curriculum, discover the values that underpin all we do and access useful information and resources for families.

Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make. We hope our website reflects the rich and varied experiences our children enjoy and provides an insight into our vibrant school community. Through our engaging curriculum, pupils develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to make meaningful connections in their learning and beyond, recognising how these can be applied in many aspects of life.

As a close-knit school community, we know every child as an individual and are committed to ensuring that they feel happy, valued and supported throughout their time with us. We believe education works best when schools and families work together, and we place great importance on building strong relationships with parents and carers to help every child thrive.

We are extremely proud to be the Co-Headteachers of Dormansland Primary School. Our aim is to help every child flourish academically, socially and emotionally while developing the confidence, resilience and character needed to thrive in an ever-changing world. Whilst academic achievement is important, we are equally committed to nurturing kindness, creativity, independence and a love of learning. We want our pupils to leave Dormansland not only with the knowledge and skills needed for the next stage of their education, but also as compassionate, responsible and well-rounded young people who are ready to make a positive contribution to society.

We hope our website gives you a flavour of life at Dormansland and all that our school has to offer. Should you wish to find out more, we would be delighted to welcome you to our school and share with you what makes Dormansland such a special place to learn.
