What a brilliant half term we've had in Year 4! The children were fantastic representatives of Dormansland Primary School on our trip to Lullingstone Villa last week and we were told to come back to school with a report from the staff there stating how brilliant all the children were. They were so engaged and had some excellent questions to ask whilst there also.
With our learning in school, the children have been working hard on their writing and have produced some fabulous newspaper reports on a short video about a lighthouse which we have watched many times. In Maths, we have worked hard on multiplication and division, now moving onto length and perimeter which we will continue after half term. This then leads into work on fractions.
Our conquerers and warriors topic continues, with some more Roman fact finding, leading us into some work on the Vikings as we approach Easter.
