Opening Ceremony For Our Outdoor Classroom

As you can see from the enclosed photos, the weather was very kind to us on Monday and our official opening ceremony of the outdoor classroom.

Many thanks to all those parents and members of the local community, who came and enjoyed a cup of tea and piece of cake with us.  Special thanks to Councillor Rose Thorn, Chairman of Tandridge District Council, who kindly cut the ribbon for us.

As you know, this new addition to our school was only made possible by fundraising from our parents, a grant from the Gatwick Community Trust and the generosity of David Coward and Chantry Oak, who installed it for us.

Now affectionately know as the 'cabin' this outdoor classroom will provide us with new teaching opportunities for the children, as well as some much needed shade during the Summer.
