Our Rainbow Day for Grenfell

What an amazing array of colours greeted us at school on Thursday morning! The children and staff made such an effort over wearing as many colours as possible in order to raise funds for the victims of the fire at Grenfell Tower and the school community of Avondale Park School in Kensington and Chelsea.

We raised over £500, which was just incredible. Thank you so much for all your generosity and thoughtfulness with this fundraising initiative. A particular mention must be made of William Dennehy, who baked cakes and sold them to his neighbours and at his Beavers pack, in order to raise additional funds. What a superstar!

Congratulations to Meggy DeVito for wearing the most colours and adding some extremely moving words to her outfit for the day.

Once I have heard back from the Head Teacher at Avondale Park, I will let you know what specific project our money will be used for. Thank you again for raising such a phenomenal amount on the day.
